The North Muskegon tennis team finished in second place at the Big Rapids Quad on Wednesday.

The Norse finished with 13 points, three behind first-place Lansing Catholic. Essexville was third and Big Rapids was fourth.

Winning flight championships for North Muskegon were Tom Schanhals (No. 2 singles), Troy McManus (No. 3 singles), and Ethan Koman and Brennen McManus (No. 1 doubles).

Gavin Grimm and Pierce Marczak were runners-up at No. 2 doubles for the Norse.
