The Holton football squad had a few starters absent on Friday night and the results showed.

The Red Devils were unable to stop Carson City Crystal, falling 38-0 in a non-conference contest.

Kaleb Kitchka was a bright spot for the Red Devils, rushing for 64 yards and adding nine tackles on defense before being sidelined in the third quarter with an injury.

Aiden Poling added eight tackles on defense for Holton.

The Red Devils fall to 0-2 on the season, but will look to bounce back next week when they face Hesperia in a CSAA-Silver conference battle.
