Jayhawks volleyball squad defeat Lake Michigan College in three straight sets

The Muskegon Community College volleyball squad cruised to a three-set win over Lake Michigan College on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks won by service scores of 25-20, 25-16, and 25-16 to improve to 7-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

MCC was paced by Jordyn Carlyle and Amber Jacobs with nine kills apiece while Megan Crowley chipped in with 34 assists.

The Jayhawks were led defensively by Jacobs with seven digs and Gianna Megna with six.

MCC returns to action on Thursday against Ancilla College.
