The Ludington Orioles won a lightning-shortened affair Friday night, beating Muskegon Heights 33-0 in Lakes 8 Conference action.

Riley Calhoun found Drew Arce for a 10-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter to give the Orioles a 7-0 lead.

On the first play of the second quarter, Calhoun connected with Arce once again, this time for a 30-yard touchdown throw to extend the lead to 14-0.

After a 15-yard pick-six by Oriole linebacker Ty Wincheski, Calhoun and Jake Lamm ran in touchdowns from seven and one yards, respectively, to make it a 33-0 at the half.

The game was then called due to inclement weather.

Calhoun was solid through the air and on the ground, throwing for 87 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for 73 yards and a score.

Arce was the Orioles’ leading receiver with four catches for 54 yards. Skylar Gerber added 31 yards on the ground.
