The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team dropped both of its tri-matches on Thursday night.

The Crusaders lost to Grandville Calvin Christian in two-sets (15-25, 15-25), then fell to Grand Rapids Catholic Central in three sets by scores of 13-25, 25-20 and 11-15.

Calvin’Nae Simmons led MCC with 14 kills while Caitlyn Fodrocy had seven aces and 18 digs. Claire LaVigne chipped in with 34 assists and Erin LaVigne had 14 digs.

The Crusaders are now 7-7 overall on the season and will host an invitational on Saturday.
