The Muskegon Community College women’s soccer team earned a 6-0 win over visiting Lake Michigan College on Saturday afternoon in front of a big and supportive crowd. 

The Jayhawks held a 1-0 halftime lead on a goal by Haley Ruiter.  In the second half MCC was able to find the back of the net five more times with another goal by Ruiter, single goals by McKenna Bruin and Ellie Adams and two  goals by Nora Brown.

Paige Stanley, Jenna Lowry, Rylie Camp, Kendal Hoppa and Lexi Bolles all shared time on the defensive line to help preserve the shutout.  

The Jayhawks, now 4-1 on the season, will host Jackson College on Saturday.
