A balanced offensive attack helped the Oakridge Eagles take care of West Michigan Conference foe Mason County Central Friday night 63-7.

After two early rushing touchdowns by Leroy Quinn and Corey Vanderputte made it 14-0 Eagles, Khole Hofmann took the ensuing kickoff 88 yards to the house, cutting the deficit in half at 14-7.

It was all Eagles from there, as Coco Watson and Ethan Carmean were able to catch touchdown passes of 54 and 21 yards respectively from Ethan Dailey to go up 28-7 after one.

Dailey connected with Vanderputte on a 16-yard pass to put the Eagles up 35-7 midway through the second, while Watson picked off Spartan quarterback Ethan Johnson and returned it 31 yards to the house to make the score 42-7 at the half.

Dailey was able to connect on passes of 51 and 63 yards to Braedyn Beattie and Luke Martin, to give himself his fourth and fifth touchdown passes of the night, giving the Eagles a 56-7 lead heading into the fourth.

Gage Lamadline rushed one in from 23-yards out in the fourth to put a cap on the win for the Eagles.

Dailey completed 11 of 17 passes for 320 yards to go along with five touchdowns, while Carmean was the leading receiver with three catches for 76 yards and a score.

Quinn paced the Eagle rushing attach with 12 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown.

The Eagles stay undefeated at 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in the WMC, while the Spartans drop to 1-3 on the year and 1-2 in league play.
