Volleyball roundup: Pentwater and Hart sweep their way to non-league wins

The Pentwater volleyball team defeated Fruitport Calvary Christian 3-0 on Friday in non-conference action.

The set scores were 2522, 25-15 and 25-23.

Jhordan Miller-Rowe had 11 kills for Pentwater. Mekayla Cornelisse had 12 assists and Mikalylyn Kenney served up four aces.

Pentwater improved to 3-3 on the season.

HART 3, HOLTON 0 – The Pirates took the non-conference match by scores of 25-7, 25-14 and 25-9. Finley Kistlerc had a big night for the Pirates, serving 12 aces and 22 service points. She also had nine assists. She served 13 straight points to start the match.

Also leading the Pirates were Cassidy Copenhaver with three kills, four aces and four digs; Rylee Noggle with six kills and one block; Morgan Rought with two aces and three assists; Lili Van Gelderen with two kills, six aces, five digs and 13 service points and Nicole Rockwell with 10 digs.

Hart improved to 4-3-1 on the season.
