A Brody Hoffman hat-trick paced the Norse in a dominant 6-0 victory over the Orioles on Saturday.

Also leading the way for North Muskegon was Trevor Schultz, who had a flipped stat line from Hoffman. Schultz contributed with one goal and three assists.

Also scoring for the Norse were Luke Rop and Hunter Koek.

Dylan Schultz chipped in with an assist for the Norse.

Jake Hoffer earned his eight clean sheet of the season, making six saves in the win.

Ludington is now 4-8-3 overall, and 3-0-1 in conference play.

North Muskegon improve to 11-5-1 overall, and have a perfect 5-0 conference record. They host Whitehall at home on Tuesday evening, in a potential conference-clinching matchup

MONA SHORES 3, REETHS-PUFFER 0 – A defensive stronghold was one of the keys to an impressive Sailors victory on Saturday.

Led by the play of David McNiff and Cooper Sabourin, Mona Shores was able to capture a second victory this season over the Rockets. Getting the clean sheet for the Sailors was Keegan DeKuiper.

The Sailors’ goals came from Ethan Brown, Luis Zambrano, and Hayden Yaros. Assists were provided by McNiff, Yaros, and Brown.

Mona Shores overall record improves to 7-5, and their conference record goes to 6-3.

Reeths-Puffer falls to 6-6-1 overall, and 3-4 in conference.

Fremont goes 2-0-1 – The Fremont boys soccer team defeated Hart and Shelby on Saturday while tying 1-1 with Ravenna.

In the win versus Hart, Anselmo Velazco had two goals while Jaxx Miller and Riccardo Lapertosa each had one goal.

In the tie with Ravenna, a David Wachter goal with five minutes remaining tied the game for Fremont.

Lastly in the win versus Shelby, Yunus Opgard scored twice while Lance Converse also added a goal.

Fremont moves to 9-3-2 overall on the season and remains 5-0-1 in conference play.
