The Montague volleyball team defeated Ravenna in a West Michigan Conference contest to remain unbeaten in league play.

The Wildcats cruised to a three-set victory with serving scores of 25-15, 25-23, 23-9 on Tuesday.

Reilly Murphy led Montague with 11 kills while Ally Hall had nine. Raegan Murphy chipped in with 36 assists.

The Wildcats were led defensively by Maddie Wynn with 17 digs while Morgan Netcott had 10.

Montague is now 15-6 overall on the season and 3-0 in West Michigan Conference play.


WHITEHALL 3, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 0– The Vikings won by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-23 on Tuesday.

Rayne Thompson paced Whitehall with 15 kills and seven aces, while Charlie Baker added three aces and nine digs. Jaden Mikkelson chipped in with 10 assists.

The Spartans were led by Hailey Jackson, Jenna Smith and Nyah Tyron with four kills each.


WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 3, MUSKEGON HEIGHTS 0– The Warriors won their match in three straight sets with service scores of 25-4, 25-4, 25-13.

Eden TenCate led WMC with nine aces and seven kills, while Anna Negen added five kills and 13 assists. Esther Hartley had 17 aces.

The Warriors are now 15-9-3 overall on the season.

ORCHARD VIEW 3, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 1 – The Cardinals won by service scores of 26-24, 20-25, 16-25, 14-25 in a Lakes 8 contest.

Lily Johnson paced OV with 14 kills, four aces and four digs, while Cassidee White had 10 digs, six kills and 14 assists. Matisen Gaunt chipped in with 15 assists and seven digs.

MCC was led by Calvin’Nae Simmons with nine kills while Maria Modaff added seven.

The Crusaders were paced defensively by Caitlyn Fodrocy with 20 digs along with her four aces. Claire LaVigne chipped in with 25 assists.

MCC is now 7-4 overall on the season.


MONA SHORES 3, MUSKEGON 0 – The Sailors won an O-K Black Conference match by scores of 25-9, 25-6 and 25-11 on Tuesday.

Brooke LeRoux led with nine kills, while Bri Wade and Grace Norris followed with five kills apiece.

Leading Mona Shores defensively was Meghan Adams with seven digs. Grace Norris chipped in with 15 assists.

The Sailors are now 11-11-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play.


COOPERSVILLE 3, SPRING LAKE 0 – The Lakers fell by serving scores of 6-25, 12-25 and 21-25.

The Lakers were led by Abbi Perkins with 10 kills, while Kendra Kieft had six digs. Taylor Britton chipped in with five digs and Taylor Estep had two aces from the end line.


PENTWATER 3, MARION 2- The Falcons won by service scores of 25-21 25-15 17-25 17-25 15-11.

Terra Cluchey paced Pentwater with 15 kills, eight aces and 17 digs, while Jhordan Miller-Rowe added 14 kills, five aces, 18 digs and four blocks.

Mekaylah Cornelisse chipped in with 25 assists, four digs and three blocks.

The Falcons are now 4-3 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
