The Oakridge volleyball team defeated Hart Tuesday night in three sets, winning the match by scores of 25-14, 26-24, and 25-22.
Riann Fri led the Eagles with eight kills while Emma Blackburn and Taryn Thompson followed with six kills each.
Haydn Ruel had a team high 23 assists while Emma Fri led the team with eight digs.
The Eagles improve to 3-1 in conference play.
WHITEHALL 3, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 0 – The Whitehall volleyball team edged Mason County Central in a home match Tuesday night. The Vikings defeated Mason County by scores of 25-21, 25-14, and 25-23.
Rayne Thompson led Whitehall with 15 kills. Maggie Evans led the team with 12 assists while Jaden Mikkelson added 10 assists. Charlie Baker had a team high nine digs.
The Vikings improve to 3-0 in conference play. They play host to Oakridge next Tuesday.
BIG RAPIDS 3, FREMONT 1 – The Fremont volleyball team came up short in four sets against
Big Rapids Tuesday night. Despite winning the second set 25-19, the Packers were unable to maintain down the stretch.
Calle Miller and Carle Bruggema led the team with 11 assists each. Natalie Jamieson had a team high four blocks.
The Packers fall to 1-1 in conference play and 10-4-1 overall. The team travels to Cadillac this Saturday for the Cadillac Invitational.
