The Muskegon football team cruised past Fruitport in an O-K Black matchup 59-0 on Friday night.

The Big Reds jumped out to a 19-0 lead after the first quarter on a five-yard touchdown run by Cameron Martinez, a 10-yard touchdown rush from Tyreese Oakes and a 21-yard scamper from Tommy Watts.

Watts added a 37 and three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Quenten Reynolds also scored on a 16-yard reception from Martinez to give the Big Reds a 38-0 halftime lead.

The Big Reds continued their offensive explosion in the third stanza with a 62-yard touchdown run from Watts.

Muskegon added a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns on a 25-yard run by Brian Stinson and a three-yard rush from Tarran Walker.

Watts paced the Big Reds with 185 yards rushing and four touchdowns while Martinez threw for 25 yards and ran for 60.

Jalen Jordan led Muskegon defensively with six tackles while Julius Sims and Walker followed with five.

The Big Reds are now 5-0 on the season and will travel to face Jenison next week, while Fruitport fell to 2-3 on the year and will Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills on Friday.
