Wednesday boys tennis roundup: Mona Shores cruises to a win, Fruitport falls short

MONA SHORES 8, KENOWA HILLS 0 – The Sailors swept all eight matches in straight sets. Overall in the match, they won 96 of 99 games.

Winners for Mona Shores were Ezekiel Powell (No. 12 singles), Kaydon Hellmann (No 2 singles), Grant Hylland (No. 3 singles), Gavin Kuhn (No. 4 singles), Chris Horvath and Austin Grimm (No. 1 doubles), Max Spagnuolo  and Bobby Wasserman (No. 2 doubles), Lydia Sowles and Brady Whalen (No. 3 doubles) and Harrison Nelund and Cameron Seiferlein (No. 4 doubles).

JENISON 8, FRUITPORT 0 – The Trojans were swept by a more experienced Jenison squad in O-K Black action on Wednesday. Winning single games for Fruitport were Jordan Hennings (No. 1 singles), Caleb Foy (No. 4 singles) and Brady Weck and Zander Beatty (No. 1 doubles).
