The Spring Lake boys varsity tennis team fell 5-3 to Grand Rapids West Catholic on Wednesday.

Winning matches for the Lakers were the teams of Grant Kieft and Teddy Hylant (No.2 doubles), Eli Tosterud and Mason De Vries (No.3 doubles), Sean Bennink and Jackson Der Vartanian (No.4 doubles).

MONA SHORES 8, FRUITPORT 0 – The Mona Shores tennis team dominated its matchup with Fruitport, winning all eight flights.

Winning in singles for Mona Shores were Ezekiel Powell (No.1 singles), Kayden Hellmann (No.2 singles), Grant Hylland (No.3 singles) and Gavin Kuhn (No.4 singles).

Winning in doubles were the teams of Austin Grimm and Chris Horvath (No.1 doubles), Max Spagnuolo and Bobby Wasserman (No.2 doubles) Lydia Sowles and Brady Whalen (No.3 doubles) and lastly the team of Harrison Nelund and Cameron Seiferlein (No.4 doubles).

WHITEHALL 8, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 0 – The Whitehall tennis team won all four singles and all four doubles matches on Wednesday.

Winning singles players for the Vikings were Jackson Vanbergen (No.1 singles), Ashton Trnka (No.2 singles), Ryan Findorff (No.3 singles) and Rob Hentschel (No.4 singles).

Double teams who won were Austin Groeneveld and Evan Luce (No.1 doubles), Christian Smolen and River Morrison (No.2 doubles), Luke Derose and Christopher Mark (No.3 doubles) and the team of Aiden Raymond and Steven Cullen (No.4 doubles).
