The Fremont boys soccer team advanced to the Division 3 district finals after beating Oakridge 4-1 on Tuesday.

Carter Moon opened the scoring for the Packers off a cross from Kris VanTreese.

Oakridge answered five minutes later when Gavin Hazekamp tied the score 1-1 with a header.

Fremont took the lead for good when Riccardo Lapertosa scored off of an assist by Moon to take a 2-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the Packers added two more goals as Lapertosa scored his second of the game and Jaxx Miller added a tally.

Fremont held an 11-2 shooting edge in the victory. Spencer Anderson stopped seven shots in goal for Oakridge.

The Eagles finished their season with a 5-9-3 record, while Fremont improved to 15-3-4 on the year.

The Packers will host Orchard View on Saturday in the district finals.
