 The Fremont football team will have to wait another week for a chance to win its first game after falling to Chippewa Hills 41-6 on Friday.

Chippewa Hills scored the first two touchdowns of the game to take 14-0 lead.

Cody Andree scored Fremont’s lone touchdown on a one-yard rush early in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 14-6.

The Warriors increased their advantage to 27-6 at halftime, then added 14 more points during the second half.

Chippewa Hills accounted for 297 total yards of offense, while Fremont had 141 as a team.

Fremont quarterback Andree was 5-for-15 passing for 70 yards, while Christian Kennedy caught three passes for 50 yards.

The Packers were led defensively by Tristen Marfia with eight tackles while Payten Mansfield had six.

Fremont falls to 0-7 overall and 0-6 in conference and will close of the season next week against Lakeview.
