Jayhawks go 2-0 in home invitational with wins over Madonna and Mott

The Muskegon Community College volleyball team went 2-0 on Sunday in their home inviational at Reeths-Puffer high school.

The Jayhawks defeated Madonna University junior varsity 25-20, 25-22, 25-15 and Mott Community College 26-24, 19-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Jaren Smith led the Jayhawks with 24 kills while Abby Seeger added 19 kills and Jordyn Carlyle had 17 kills.

Megan Crowley had 85 assists for Muskegon while Gianna Megna had 36 digs.

The Jayhawks are now 19-13 overall on the season.
