The Ludington Orioles were solid on both sides of the ball Friday, shutting out Wyoming Lee 35-0 in a non-conference clash on their home field.

Skylar Gerber took care of the scoring for the Orioles in the first quarter, scoring two touchdowns from 2 and 10 yards, to give the Orioles a 14-0 lead after one.

Ludington quarterback Riley Calhoun started off the second quarter by finding Jake Plamondon on a 30-yard touchdown pass, while Blake Benson rushed one in from 16 yards out, making it 28-0 at the half.

Calhoun and Plamondon connected again in the third quarter on a 23-yard touchdown pass to seal the win for the Orioles.

Ludington was led on the ground by Drew Arcewith five carries for 110 yards. Gerber added 78 yards and two scores. Plamondon led the defense with six tackles.

Ludington improved to 5-2 on the year.
