A stifling defensive attack from Ludington was key, as they didn’t allow a shot on goal, and came away with a Division 3 district quarterfinal win over Reed City Thursday night 3-0 in boys soccer.

Nick Patterson, Noah King and Max Knoer all scored for the Orioles. Isaiah Lynn and John Biggs each tallied an assist in the winning effort.

The Orioles improved to 9-9-3 on the year, and advance to host Big Rapids in a Division 3 district semifinal matchup next Tuesday.
