The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team posted a 2-1 record on Thursday in its last quad-match of the season on its home floor.

The Crusaders lost to Holton (27-25, 25-27, 10-15), then defeat Zion Christian (25-19, 25-13) and Pentwater (25-23, 25-18).

Calvin’Nae Simmons paced MCC with 31 kills while both Maria Modaff and Erin LaVigne each had 10 apiece. Claire LaVigne chipped in with 63 assists.

The Crusaders were led defensively by Caitlyn Fodrocy with 33 digs along with having five aces.

Muskegon Catholic Central is now 18-20 overall on the season.
