Muskegon Catholic Central won its third straight game on Friday, racing past Manistee 49-0 in a Lakes 8 Conference battle.

Tiovanni Knight scored the first two touchdowns for the Crusaders on three-yard rushes, to give MCC a 14-0 lead after one quarter.

Senior Carson St. Amour found the end zone twice early in the second quarter, both on 10 yard rushes. Solomon Waller ran one in from three yards out and quarterback Max Price connected with St. Amour on a 38-yard touchdown pass, giving the Crusaders a 42-0 lead at halftime.

Late in the third, Dane Rutz found the end zone on a two-yard run for the final touchdown of the game.

St. Amour was the leading rusher for the Crusaders with 75 yards and two scores while Knight added 55 yards and two touchdowns.

Muskegon Catholic improves to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in Lakes 8 play.
