The North Muskegon boys soccer team came away with a first-half mercy victory, topping Big Rapids Crossroads in Division 4 district quarterfinal action 8-0 on Thursday.

Dylan Schultz led the Norsemen with two goals, while Hunter Koekkeok, Trevor Schultz, Hudson Richards, Brody Hoffman, Andrew Mallon and Kayleb Chase scored the other six goals for North Muskegon.

Hoffman also chipped in with two assists while Trevor Schultz, Nolan Mallory, Luke Ropp, Koekkek and Richards had a single assist. Jake Hoffer stopped one shot in goal.

North Muskegon advanced to host a Division 4 district semifinal game next Tuesday against Lakeview.
