Trevor Schultz and Dylan Schultz each had two goals and one assist, leading the North Muskegon soccer team to a 5-0 victory over McBain Northern Michigan Christian on Thursday in a Division 4 district championship game in McBain.

Goalkeeper Jake Hoffer made five stops in the contest to collect his 12th shutout of the season, which ties the North Muskegon school record.

Brody Hoffman had the other goal for the Norse while Hunter Koekkoek and Jack Vanderwoude each had an assist.

North Muskegon now advances to Tuesday’s regional semifinal round against Western Michigan Christian on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on WMC’s home field.
