The Orchard View football team continued its dominance Friday night, staying undefeated by shutting down Hesperia 50-0 in a non-league game.
Owen Swanson connected in the air with Edmari Mitchell and Alex Andrews on passes of 88 and 37
yards for touchdowns, respectively. Swanson also rushed for a five-yard touchdown run.
Brenden Hyatt added a 10-yard touchdown run for the Cardinals while Darrius Williams and Maverick Colon each ran one in from nine and six yards, respectively.
Hyatt was the leading rusher for OV with 66 yards and a score while Swanson chipped in with 62 yards and a score on the ground. Swanson also tallied 172 yards through the air and two touchdowns.
Arturo Herrera led the Cardinals defensively with eight tackles.
Orchard view improved to 8-0 on the season and will look to complete the perfect regular season with a win next week against North Muskegon.
