The Spring Lake volleyball team won an O-K Blue Conference match by scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-18 against Allendale.

Abbi Perkins and Alicia Mumby led the Lakers with 10 kills each while Lily Garrison recorded six.

Kendra Keift and Julia Zona led the defense with nine digs each. Kyla Kobylak recorded a team-high 28 assists on the night.

ORCHARD VIEW 3, MANISTEE 1 – The Cardinals won a four-set Lakes 8 match by service scores of 16-25, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-14 on Tuesday.

Lily Johnson paced the Cardinals with three aces, nine digs and six kills. Also playing a big part was Cassidee White (six aces, five digs, seven kills and one block), and Tara McGrath (two aces, 10 digs and two kills).

Orchard View improved to 13-15-1 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 3, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 0- The Warriors cruisd in three sets, shutting out their opponent by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-12.

Claudia Kingma led the Warriors with 14 kills, while Eden TenCate recorded six and Chloe Mitchell finished with five.

Grace VanBeek led the WMC defense with 16 digs and Mitchell had a team-high 31 assists.

The Crusaders were led by Calvin’Nae Simmons with seven kills while McKenna Gentry added three. Caitlyn Fodrocy finished with 15 assists for MCC.

WMC improves to 28-9-3 overall while Catholic falls to 12-14 overall and 2-3 in Lakes 8 play.

FREMONT 3, TRI-COUNTY 0  – The Packers gained another conference with a dominating performance on Tuesday evening, winning by scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-16.

Rhi Pafford paced Fremont with ten kills and eight digs. Big contributions also came from Carle Bruggemma, who had eight kills and 24 assists, Calla Miller with five aces and digs and Natalie Jamieson with eight kills and three aces.

Fremont improved its record to 18-13-1 overall.

WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE

NORTH MUSKEGON 3, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 0– Syann Fairfield led the Norse with 17 kills while Natalie Pannucci followed with six. Bre Adamczak led the North Muskegon defense with six digs while Emma Houseman recorded four.

North Muskegon plays this Saturday in the GMAA City Tournament at Muskegon County Central.
