The Fremont boys soccer team advances to the C.S.A.A tournament finals after a 1-0 shootout win over Big Rapids on Wednesday.

The Packers outshot Big Rapids during the regulation and overtime by a 14-7 margin.

Joe Kortge, Grant Vissia, Carter Moon and Unus Opgard each scored goals in the shootout, while Big Rapids managed three goals.

The Packers, who will play Newaygo in the championship, is now 10-8-4 on the season and 6-2-1 in conference play.

LUDINGTON 3, ORCHARD VIEW 0 – The Orioles were led by Colby Peplinski with two goal while Bradley Paul had a single tally.

Brayden Porter, Nick Patterson and Isaiah Lynn each recorded assists for Ludington.

The Orioles outshot OV by a 19-3 margin.

Ludington’s goalkeeper Kyle Wendt stopped all three shots faced.

The Orioles are now 6-9-3 on the season and 5-1-1 in the conference.

NON-LEAGUE

NORTH MUSKEGON 4, GR COVENANT CHRISTIAN 0- Brody Hoffman paced the Norse with two goals and an assist, while Trevor Schultz and Nolan Mallory each added a goal.

Hudson Richards, Hunter Koekkoek and Drew Mallon each chipped in with an assist for North Muskegon.

Jake Hoffer earned his 11th shutout of the season in net for the Norse, stopping seven shots.

North Muskegon finished the regular season with a 14-5-1 record.
