The Ludington football team ended its season with a 46-6 loss to Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday in Division 4 pre-districts.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Orioles trailed 16-0 at halftime and 32-0 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Orioles avoided the shutout with two seconds left, scoring on a 15-yard pass from quarterback Riley Calhoun to C.J. Samuels.

Ludington was held to just 57 yards of total offense while allowing 432 yards.

The Orioles finished the season with a 7-3 overall record.
