The other teams still left in the Division 4 state volleyball tournament should probably be wary of Pentwater.

The Falcons continued their dominant season on Thursday by beating Big Rapids Crossroads Academy 3-0 in a district championship match in Big Rapids.

The set scores were 25-21, 25-15 and 25-16. Pentwater captured its seventh straight district title and improved its record to 28-2-6.

Terra Cluchey and Jhordan Miller-Rowe paced Pentwater with 18 and 14 kills, respectively. Mekaylah Cornelisse had 34 assists while Mikaylyn Kenney served three aces.

On defense, Cluchey and Miller-Rowe had 17 and 10 digs, respectively, while Mika Hugo had three blocks.

Pentwater advances to play Fowler in regional semifinals on Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart High School.
