The Pentwater volleyball team defeated Walkerville in the opening round of districts Monday night, winning the match by scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-15.

Jhordan Miller Rowe led the Falcon attack with 13 kills while Terra Cluchey and Mika Hugo each recorded five kills. Mekaylah Cornelisse led the team with 19 assists.

Cluchey and Miller-Rowe led the defense with 12 and eight digs respectively.

Pentwater will travel to Big Rapids Crossroads Charter Academy on Wednesday to square off against Mason County Eastern in Division 4 district semifinal action.
