The Shelby volleyball team is headed to a Division 3 district championship match after its four-set victory over Holton on Wednesday in the 
semifinals.
Shelby won the first two sualets 25-23 and 25-9, but Holton rallied for a third set victory, 25-21. Then the Tigers put the match away with a 25-11 win in the fourth.
Holton’s efforts were led by Ally Seiber (11 kills, three digs, one ace), Kennedy Greene (26 digs, three aces), Kylie Gould (21 digs, five kills, one ace) and Page Byrnes (15 assists, four kills, four digs, two aces).
Shelby, which does not provide team statistics, will play for the district title on Thursday.
