The Pentwater girls basketball team narrowly fell 45-42 to Walkerville on Wednesday night to open up conference play.
The Falcons were unable to overcome a 10-4 deficit at the end of the first quarter.
Jhordan Miller-Rowe paced the Falcons with 15 points and nine rebounds while Terra Cluchey added 14 points and four rebounds.
FRUITPORT 46, OAKRIDGE 27 – Ellie Fisher led the Trojans with 12 points, 18 rebounds, four steals and four blocks in a non-conference victory. Sydney Bol added 11 points, five rebounds and four assists while Andi Quasebarth had 11 points.
The Trojans now have two wins on the season.
