Wednesday wrestling roundup: Kent City and Reeths-Puffer each go undefeated

The Kent City wrestling team went 2-0 on Wednesday night, defeating Orchard View 64-18 and Kelloggsville 67-12.

Undefeated wrestlers for the Eagles were Zane Kik (103), Clark Oxford (112), Jayden Williams (119), Brayden Armstrong (125), Justin Mack (130), Carson Pieper (130), Jesus Hernandez (135), Bradley Brooks (140), Jake Anderson (145), Austin Neuman (152), Dolan Blair (160) and Carlos Hernandez-Ruiz (189).

LUDINGTON DROPS TWO – The Orioles fell 48-18 to Holton and 60-18 to Mason County Central.

Nickolia Kehrer and Aric Storm each won two matches for Ludington while Tyson Beetz and Trey Greene each won one match.

REETHS-PUFFER HAS DOMINANT NIGHT – The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team put on a stellar performance, defeating Fruitport 59-9 and Grand Rapids Catholic Central 68-12.

Undefeated Rocket wrestlers were Connor Bloomsttom (112), Jacob Blawat (125), Noah Mckinnon (130), Alex Chapman (135), Kaden Edwards (140), Thade Radosa (145), Jimmy Rozycki (152), Caleb McNeil (160), Payton Dobben (171), Colby Stephenson (189) and Hunter McCall (215).

MONA SHORES GOES 1-1 – The Mona Shores wrestling team defeated Grand Rapids Union 46-24 before falling to Allendale.

Ezra Purple, Kameron McGinley, Robby Swanker and Anthony Allen all went 2-0 on the night for the Sailors.

MUSKEGON FALLS – The Muskegon wrestling team fell 42-21 to Kenowa Hills and 57-15 to Comstock Park on Wednesday night.

Gabe Jaimes (285) and Damont Williams (189) each went 2-0 while Lemech Crosby (103) and MeShune Crowley (160) each went 1-1.
