West Michigan Conference boys hoops roundup: North Muskegon still perfect

The North Muskegon boys basketball team improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in West Michigan Conference play with a 46-25 victory over Shelby on Thursday night.

Braeden Fleming led the Norse with 12 points and three steals while Jack Dobb added seven points, five assists and three steals.

Logan Claeys led Shelby with seven points.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 59, HART 35 – A 18-7 second quarter advantage helped Mason County take down Hart on Thursday.

Jeffery Carrier led the Spartans with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Will Chye added 16 points and Rae’Kwon Simpson added 12 points.

Hart was paced by Aidan Beachum with nine points and Hunter Tubbs with seven points.

RAVENNA 59, WHITEHALL 29 – Ravenna outscored Whitehall 34-10 in the second half in route to picking up a conference victory.

Calvin Schulo led the Bulldogs with 26 points while Trevor Sterken chipped In 18.

Whitehall was led by Dayton Cole with 13 points.

OAKRIDGE 73, MONTAGUE 46 – An explosive 26 point third quarter helped the Eagles win the West Michigan Conference matchup.

Tanner Karel led Oakridge with 26 points while Austin Fairchild had 20 and Ethan Jozsa finished with 14.

Asher Erickson led Montague with 18 points while Chase Peterson had 11.
