The Muskegon Big Reds boys basketball team remains unbeaten in league play after plowing past Kenowa Hills 79-36 on Friday in an O-K Black Conference game.

The Big Reds jumped out to a 28-6 lead after the first quarter, led 54-17 at halftime and had a commanding 70-28 advantage heading into the final stanza.

Vern Nash paced Muskegon with 22 points while Jarvis Walker followed with 18. Lamar Lee pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Big Reds are now 9-1 on the season and 6-0 in O-K Black Conference competition.
