The Big Reds held off a late rally to secure a 67-66 victory over Ferndale on Monday afternoon after the game was rescheduled from Saturday due to weather.

The Big Reds jumped out to a 15-12 lead in the first quarter, and outscored the Eagles 23-11 in the second quarter to take a 38-23 lead into the half.

The Big Reds were outscored 21-19 in the third, cutting their lead to 57-44 before hanging on to the lead in the fourth for a narrow win.

Jarvis Walker led the Big Reds with 25 points. Vern Nash chipped in with 14 points and Lamar Lee scored 11.

The Big Reds improved to 5-1 overall and are still 2-0 in O-K Black conference play.

PENTWATER 67, HESPERIA 27– The Falcons blew out the Panthers in a non-conference matchup Monday night. The Falcons got off to a hot start and never looked back.

Khole Hoffman led the Falcons with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Tyler Plummer-Eisenlohr chipped in 15 points and six steals.

Aj Perysian led the Panthers with 12 points, while Logan Balkema had 10 points.

The Falcons are now 6-1 overall this season, and stay at 5-0 in conference. The Panthers are now 0-9 on the season, and remain 0-4 in CSAA Silver division play.
