Iyana Brown leads Jayhawk women to victory with double-double

The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team defeated Kellogg Community College 78-46 on Wednesday night.

Muskegon led 9-8 after a slow scoring first quarter before pulling away in the second quarter and leading 31-20 at halftime.

After the third quarter, the Jayhawks led 57-33.

Iyana Brown led Muskegon with 24 points and 12 rebounds while Yasmine Colon scored 17 points and Tierra Williams added 14 points.

With the victory, Muskegon improves to 12-3 overall and 4-2 in conference.
