Monday girls basketball roundup: Ludington explodes in fourth quarter for comeback win

The Ludington girls basketball team defeated Benzie Central 33-28 on Monday night.

Ludington trailed 14-12 at halftime and 19-16 after three quarters before exploding for 17 points in the fourth quarter.

De’Lahna Porter led Ludington with 12 points while the Orioles had eight different players score in the game.

Ludington is now 5-1 overall on the season.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL40, HESPERIA 32 – Nyah Tyron paced Mason County Central (2-5, 0-4) with 14 points in the victory while Emily Bayle led Hesperia (1-5, 1-1) with 16 points and three steals.

WALKERVILLE 51, ORCHARD VIEW 24 – Allison Tenhove led the Cardinals with 13 points and 12 assists in a non-conference loss on Monday night. Orchard View is now 0-7 on the season.
