The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team cruised to a 76-39 victory over Lansing Community College in conference action 
on Thursday.
The Jayhawks jumped out to a 19-5 lead in the first quarter, led 38-17 at halftime and 56-32 after three quarters.
Yasmine Colon paced MCC with 20 points and six rebounds. Iyana Brown had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, Tierra Williams scored 13 points and Tanae Hammer added 11.
MCC improved to 9-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
