The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team blew out Grand Rapids Community College 79-40 on Saturday in a home conference clash.
In the first quarter, the Jayhawks ran away from Grand Rapids, leading 23-10 before extending the lead to 35-20 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Jayhawks extended the lead to 58-32 and never looked back.
Yasmine Colon led Muskegon with 21 points and eight rebounds while Tierra Williams totaled 20 points and 10 rebounds. Iyana Brown had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Jayhawks are now 13-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
