The Oakridge boys basketball team went on a 28-13 fourth quarter run to erase a 10-point deficit and defeat Mason County Central 67-62 on Friday in a West Michigan Conference game.
The Eagles trailed 20-13 after the first quarter and 37-29 at halftime. Oakridge was then outscored 12-10 in the third and were behind 49-39 going into the fourth.
Tanner Karel led the Eagles with 28 points while Austin Fairchild followed with 12 and Luke Martin added nine.
The Spartans were paced by Jeff Carrier with 21 points while Raekwon Simpson and Will Chye had 14 each.
Oakridge improved to 5-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play while the Spartans fall to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
