The Pentwater boys basketball team defeated Mason County Eastern 62-52 on Wednesday night.

In the first quarter, the Falcons outscored Mason County Eastern 23-8.

After leading 30-23 at halftime, Pentwater had their lead cut to 41-38 entering the fourth quarter.

Over the final eight minutes, Pentwater outscored Mason County Eastern 21-14.

Khole Hofmann led the Falcons with 23 points, 18 rebounds, six assists and four blocks while Gannon McDonough added 15 points and seven rebounds. Jack Stoneman had 13 points for Pentwater.

The Falcons are now 7-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play.
