The Mason County Central girls basketball team came back to beat Ravenna 37-36 on Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Spartans trailed 9-7 after the first quarter and 22-19 at halftime. Mason County Central outscored the Bulldogs 8-4 during the third quarter and maintained its lead through the final stanza.

Grace VanDyke paced MCC with 11 points and eight rebounds, while Nyah Tyron added nine points, eight steals, five assists and six rebounds.

Ravenna was led by Ana Postuna with 14 points, five rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

WHITEHALL 41, OAKRIDGE 31– The Vikings led 18-13 at halftime and maintained the lead throughout the second half.

Oakridge was paced by Emma Fri with 10 points while Kyla Stewart chipped in with eight. Macy Whipple pulled down eight rebounds and had six steals.

HART 46, NORTH MUSKEGON 28 – The Pirates held an early lead Tuesday night, jumping out to a
12-7 advantage in the first quarter and maintained a 25-18 lead at the half.

Hart outscored North Muskegon 12-5 in the third quarter.

Jayd Hovey’s 19 points lifted the Pirates to victory, while Kendall Williamson followed with 13 and Nicole Rockwell added eight.

Hart improved to 9-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
