Wednesday wrestling roundup: Hart and Reeths-Puffer each go 2-0 on the night

The Hart wrestling team went 2-0 on Wednesday night, defeating Montague 58-18 and Belding 46-28.

Trayce Tate (112), Chance Alvesteffer (130), Fabian Vilchis-Mendoza (135), Mason Cantu (140), Jerry Brandel (145), and Adrian Rendon all went 2-0 on the night for the Pirates.

Nick Sawdy (125), Zane Thomas (152), Jon Ponce (171), Leo Guadarrama (189), Braeden Carskadon (215) and Tanner Breitwisch (285) all won one match for Hart.

MUSKEGON GOES 1-1 WITH VICTORY OVER MONA SHORES – The Big Reds went 1-1 on Wednesday, defeating Mona Shores 40-33 but falling to Coopersville 72-9.

Nyzirre Wynn (160) and Damont Williams (189) each went 2-0 for Muskegon while Lemech Crosby (103), Mario Padilla (112), Carl Lawton (119), Nate Crump (145) and Gabe Jaimes (285) each had one win.

REETHS-PUFFER HAS UNDEFEATED NIGHT – The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team defeated Jenison 35-21 and Spring Lake 54-30 on Wednesday.

Undefeated wrestlers for the Rockets were Kaden Edwards (140), Thade Radosa (145), Jimmy Rozycki (152), Caleb McNeil (160), Payton Doben (171), Colby Stephenson (189) and Hunter McCall (215).
