The Fruitport boys bowling team finished runner-up in a massive home tournament on Saturday, finishing runner-up to Kenowa Hills out of 25 schools.

Cameron Weaver led the Trojans with a game high score of 212 and a series high of 565 while Jerod Arvey rolled a 187 score. Rounding out the scores for Fruitport were Jon Wildey with 189, Evan Simonis with 193, Zander Leonard with 166 and Jeremy Conklin with 159.

FRUITPORT GIRLS FALL TO LUDINGTON – The Fruitport girls bowling team fell in the opening round of their home tournament to Ludington.

Kennadi Dykstra led the Trojans with a game high of 205 and series high of 536. Raegan Dykstra scored 164, Avery Wilks scored 163, Jessica Plichta scored 160 and Oakleigh Chase scored 150 to round out the Fruitport scores.

LUDINGTON BOYS FALL IN QUARTERFINALS – The Ludington boys bowling team fell to host Fruitport in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

Max Kline rolled a game high 189 while Will Shinn scored 176 and Jonas VandenHeuvel scored 174.

LUDINGTON GIRLS TAKE THIRD IN THEIR DIVISION – The Ludington girls traveled to the Fruitport tournament on Saturday and finished third in their division in pool play before falling to Zeeland West in the finals.

Amelia Larson rolled a 187 to pace the Orioles while Bailey Streeter rolled a 185 and Lily Roberts rolled 170.
