The Reeths-Puffer team dominated at the Shelby super duals on Saturday and took home first place.

The Rockets defeated Shelby 72-6, Grant 73-6, Forest Hills Central 54-21, Fremont 52-16 and Hart 54-30.

Undefeated wrestlers for Reeths-Puffer were Alex Chipman (135), Thade Radosa (145), Jimmy Rozycki (152), Colby Stephenson (189) and Hunter McCall (215) who picked up his 150th win in his career as well.

Wrestlers who went 4-1 for Reeths-Puffer were Greg Maynard (103), Connor Bloomstrom (112), Jacob Blawat (119), Noah Mckinnon (130), Kaden Edwards (140) and Caleb McNeil (160).

HART GOES UNDEFEATED IN POOL PLAY – The Hart wreslting went 3-0 in the pool play of the Shelby duals before losing to Fremont and Reeths-Puffer in the championship rounds.

Hart defeated Grand Rapids Catholic Central 58-15, Cedar Springs 54-29 and Kent City 42-28 before falling 50-25 to Fremont and 54-30 to Reeths-Puffer.

Chance Alvesteffer (130), Mason Cantu (140) and Tanner breitwisch (285) all went undefeated on the day for Hart.

FRUITPORT WINS RANDY JACOBS MEMORIAL DUALS – The Fruitport wrestling team took first place in the Randy Jacobs Memorial Duals at Montague on Saturday.

The Trojans defeated Coopersville 52-24 in the finals after beating Hamilton 43-36, Wyoming 54-30, Montague 66-18 and Muskegon Catholic Central 66-12.

Trojan wrestlers who went 5-0 on the day were Connor Sykes (125), Evan Ludlow (130), Karl Glydewell (140), David Ross (160) and Crue Cooper (189).

Roan Cooper (119), Tyler Ranshaw (152) and Jayme Woodring (215) all went 4-1 while Brennan Martin (112) and Peyton DeHoog (145) each went 3-2.

SPRING LAKE HAS THREE INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS – The Spring Lake wrestling team finished seventh out of 19 teams on Saturday at the Ron Russo Classic.

Individual champions for the Lakers were Max Montgomery (103), Jack Parker (112) and Jamie Holt (135).
