The Muskegon Big Reds boys basketball team ran away with 91-40 O-K Black Conference win over Mona Shores on Friday night to win the conference title.

The Big Reds outscored the Sailors 19-6 in the first quarter and led 42-18 at halftime.

Muskegon outscored the Sailors by a 24-15 margin during the third quarter to take a 66-33 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Vern Nash paced the Big Reds with 22 points, while Lamar Lee chipped in with 12 and Zykier Davis had 10.

The Sailors were led by Ahmon Dean with eight points, while Ethan Krueger and Tre Hatcher each scored seven.

The Big Reds improved to 15-2 overall this season while Mona Shores fell to 2-14 this season.
