Hesperia wins its 21st wrestling district in 25 years, defeats Ravenna in finals

The Hesperia wrestling squad won its 21^st district title in the last 25 years on Wednesday.

The Panthers defeated Holton 63-12, then beat Ravenna 48-27 to capture the Division 4 title.

Hesperia wrestlers that posted a 2-0 record were Alex Sayer (103), Isaiah Gardner (112), River Roberson (130), Mack Baird (135), Korbin Klaus (145), Kam Rosencrans (152) and Tyler Billings (215).

The Panthers will face Vermontville Maple Valley next week in regional semifinals.
