Orchard View wrestling squad captures a Div. 3 districts with wins over Montague and Shelby

The Orchard View wrestling team captured a Division 3 district title after defeating Montague 51-28 and Shelby by a 54-27 margin on Wednesday night.

The Cardinal wrestlers with a 2-0 record included Zion Szucs (130), Brendan Hyatt (135), Tavion Chavez (145), Angelo Perri (152), Kody Goudzwaard (160), Daniel Woodring (171), Dayton Rose (215) and Jordan Tuttle (heavyweight).

Both Cameron Dood (119) and Josh Ellcey (189) went 1-1 for Orchard View.

The Cardinals will face Fremont on Wednesday in the regional semifinals.
