The Ravenna boys basketball team continued its perfect season and it has resulted in the first conference champion since the 1980 season.

The Bulldogs defeated Mason County Central 63-51 on Friday to claim an outright Lakes 8 title.

Ravenna held a slim 17-16 lead after the first quarter, then increased their lead to 31-25 at halftime.

The Bulldogs outscored Mason County Central by a 15-9 margin in the third frame. 

Calvin Schullo paced Ravenna with 19 points, seven rebounds and six steals.

Jacob May added 17 points for the Bulldogs, while Trevor Sterken finished with 12 and Hunter Funk had a team-high six assists.

Jeffery Carrier led Mason County Central with 26 points and 13 rebounds, while Will Chye added 11 points.

The Bulldogs are now 17-0 overall and 13-0 in conference play.
