The Reeths-Puffer boys raced out to a 13-0 lead en route to a big road win over O-K Black rival Mona Shores on Tuesday night. The hot start propelled the Rockets to an 83-67 win.

Reeths-Puffer is now 10-5 overall and 6-2 in O-K Black play, good for second place behind Muskegon. Mona Shores falls to 2-13 and 0-7 in the conference.

The Rockets led 24-16 after the first quarter and 40-35 at halftime. The lead stretched to 62-47 after three quarters. 

Emcee Williams led R-P with 27 points. Kendall Smith contributed a career-high 18 points, including four threes, and grabbed nine rebounds. Josh Jordan added 16 points, while Kaleb Mitchelson had 12 and eight assists. 

Jaylen Hopson had the hot hand for Mona Shores, tossing in 31 points. Tre Hatcher and Drew Southland were both in double figures with 11 points each.
